Certified Soil Advisor

A Certified Soil Advisor is involved in the community – teaching and helping others.  The knowledge and advice shared is often provided free.  Advisors have access to the Consultant Network and Presentations.  The course is a series of 3 individualized live web-based sessions which will run for 2 hours each.  We will review the basics of soil biology, examine common practices, and discuss soil biology testing.  You will receive a Soil Advisor Certificate, notebook, and training for a 15-30 minute provided presentation for you to share in your field.  Additionally, the course includes a lab test on a project of the participant’s choice.  We will review the project, discuss the results of the test on the sample, and plan remediation steps.  We always stress the practical applications of soil biology – and at the end of these sessions, the participant will be prepared to share essential concepts of soil biology & how common practices can impact the biology.

Those choosing to enroll in the Certified Soil Advisor program should have attended the Practical Soil Biology webinar class or the equivalent.
